Nutcase App LLC is committed to making nutcaseapp.com accessible to people with disabilities, and to building the Nutcase product the same way.
The standard we target
This site is built to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we’ve done
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure, landmarks, and a “skip to content” link.
- Text and interface colors chosen to meet WCAG contrast ratios, including the amber accent, which is used at body size only where it passes.
- Everything operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator that is not hidden behind the sticky header.
- Form fields with visible labels, clear required-field marking, and status messages announced to screen readers.
- Alternative text on meaningful images; decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
- Animation that respects the “reduce motion” preference: the scrolling feature strip becomes static and other motion is disabled.
- A layout that reflows down to 320 pixels wide without horizontal scrolling.
Known limitations
- Product mockups on the home page are concept illustrations. Each carries a caption and an accessible name that describes what it depicts, but the illustrative text inside them is not meant to be read as content.
- The scrolling strip of planned features is decorative. It pauses on hover and is static under reduced motion; the same list appears in full in the “What we’re building” section.
